Investment Objective The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund primarily invests in stocks of U.S. mid-cap companies. Stocks include, for example, common stocks, preferred stocks, and American Depositary Receipts. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in mid-cap companies. The fund may also invest in foreign stocks in keeping with the fund's objective.
