Investment Objective The investment seeks above-average capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its investable assets in common stocks and securities convertible into common stocks of small-cap companies, which the managers consider to be companies with market capitalizations within the market cap range of companies included in the Russell 2000 Index or the Standard & Poor's SmallCap 600 Index. It may invest up to 20% of the fund's assets in foreign securities, including stocks and other equity-related investments and other investment-grade fixed-income securities of foreign issuers.
