Investment Objective The investment seeks long term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (including amounts borrowed for investment purposes) in equity securities of small-capitalization companies. It will primarily invest in common stock. The fund's managers consider small-capitalization companies to be companies with capitalization within the range of the capitalization of those companies included in the Russell 2000 Value Index at the time of purchase.
