Investment Objective The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions- the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities of small cap companies located in "emerging market countries." Emerging market countries include those currently considered to be developing by the World Bank- the International Finance Corporation- the United Nations- or the countries' authorities- or countries with a stock market capitalization of less than 3% of the MSCI World Index. These countries typically are located in the Asia-Pacific region- Eastern Europe- the Middle East- Central and South America- and Africa.
