The Alumina segment consists of mining and purchasing of bauxite and other raw materials, refining bauxite into alumina, and selling of alumina. The Primary Aluminum segment deals with acquiring alumina and other raw materials to produce primary Aluminum and selling it to internal and external aluminum fabrication plants. The Aluminum Fabrication segment procures primary aluminum for further processing which is being used for the production and sales of main aluminum fabricated products including casts, planks, screens, extrusions, forges, and powder and die castings. The Trading segment markets alumina, primary aluminum, aluminum fabrication products, and other non-ferrous metal products. The company was founded on September 10, 2001 and is headquartered in Beijing, China
