The Annuity business segment is engaged in the sale of fixed and fixed-indexed annuities in the individual, bank and education markets through independent producers and also sells annuities through direct relationships with banks. The Run-Off Long-Term Care and Life segment include operations of United Teacher Associates Insurance Co., Continental General Insurance Co. and Manhattan National Life Insurance Co. The Other business segment includes commercial real estate operations. The company was founded by Carl Henry Lindner Jr. in 1959 and is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH.
