The U.S. Retail segment consists of its retail store operations in the United States. The Canada segment consists of its retail, wholesale and online consumer operations in Canada. The International segment consists of its retail, wholesale and online consumer operations outside of the United States, and Canada. American Apparel was founded by Dov Charney in 1997 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.
