The Packaging segment includes the wrapping of bare semiconductors into finished semiconductors with enhanced electrical and thermal characteristics. The Testing segment provides front-end engineering testing, wafer probing, and final testing. The EMS segment offers the electronic parts and materials services. The Other segment includes other activities of the company including turnkey services which consist of integrated packaging, testing and direct shipment of semiconductors to end users and original design manufacturing services. The company was founded by Chien Shen Chang Jason and Hung Pen Chang Richard on March 23, 1984 and is headquartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
