Brunswick owns and operates Brunswick bowling family entertainment centers in the United States and other countries. The company operates through four segments: Marine Engine, Boat, Fitness and Bowling & Billiards. The Marine Engine segment consists of Mercury Marine division, which manufactures and markets stern drive engines, inboard engines, outboard engines and marine parts and accessories. It also manufactures and markets marine parts and accessories under the Quicksilver, Mercury precision parts, Mercury propellers, Attwood, Land 'N' sea, Kellogg marine supply, Diversified marine products, Sea choice and Motor guide brand names, including marine electronics and control integration systems, steering systems, instruments, controls, propellers, trolling motors, service parts and marine lubricants. The Boat segment manufactures and markets fiberglass pleasure boats, luxury sport fishing convertibles and motor yachts, offshore fishing boats, aluminum fishing boats and pontoon and deck boats. The Fitness segment comprises of its Life Fitness division, which designs manufactures and markets a full line of reliable, high-quality cardiovascular fitness equipment, including treadmills, total body cross-trainers, stair climbers and stationary exercise bicycles and strength training equipment under the Life Fitness and Hammer Strength brands. The Bowling & Billiards segment comprises of the Brunswick Bowling & Billiards division, which designs, manufactures and markets bowling capital equipment and associated parts and supplies, including automatic pinsetters and scorers, bowling balls and other accessories, and billiards tables and accessories. It also operates retail bowling centers. The company also sells a complete line of billiards tables and other gaming tables and accessories and owns and operates Brunswick bowling entertainment centers in the United States and other countries. It was founded by John Brunswick in 1845 and is headquartered in Lake Forest, IL.
