Baytex Energy Corp. is an exploration company, which engages in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Williston Basin in the U.S. The company's crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three business units: Alberta/B.C., Saskatchewan and United States and these business units has a portfolio of mineral leases, operated and non-operated properties and development prospects. Baytex Energy was founded on October 22, 2010 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
