NV engages in the provision of conceptual design, technology, engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning services to the energy, petrochemical, and natural resource industries. It operates through the following segments: Engineering, Construction and Maintenance; Fabrication Services; Technology; and Government Solutions. The Engineering, Construction and Maintenance segment provides engineering, procurement, and construction for energy infrastructure facilities, as well as integrated maintenance service. The Fabrication Services segment provides fabrication of piping systems, process and nuclear modules, and fabrication and erection of storage tanks and pressure vessels. The Technology segment provides licensed process technologies, catalysts, specialized equipment, and engineered products. The Government Solutions segment offers design-build infrastructure projects for federal, state, and local government, design-build services for marine and transportation projects, and full-scale environment services for government and private sector clients. The company was founded in 1889 and is headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands.
