Company Description

CBOE Holdings, Inc. is a holding company for Chicago Board Options Exchange, Incorporated, C2 Options Exchange, CBOE Futures Exchange LLC and other subsidiaries. The primary business of the company is the operation of markets it offer for trading options on various market indexes and futures contracts, as well as on non-exclusive multiply-listed options, such as options on the stocks of individual corporations and options on other exchange-traded products, such as exchange-traded funds options) and exchange-traded notes options. It operates three stand-alone exchanges, but reports the results of its operations in one reporting segment. CBOE is the primary market and offers trading for listed options through a single system that integrates electronic trading and traditional open outcry trading on the trading floor in Chicago. The company was founded on August 15, 2006 and is headquartered in Chicago, IL.
