It provides technology-driven, integrated, supply chain solutions to brand, track, and secure goods for retailers and consumer product manufacturers worldwide. The company operates through three business segments: Merchandise Availability Solutions, Apparel Labeling Solutions and Retail Merchandising Solutions. The Merchandise Availability Solutions segment provides electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems, including antennas and deactivation units to prevent inventory losses caused by theft, as well as to enhance consumer shopping and inventory management; and electronic article surveillance consumables comprising EAS-RF and EAS-EM labels to enable retailers to protect various easily-pocketed, high-shrink merchandise. The EAS consumables includes Alpha solutions, store security system installations, monitoring solutions (CheckView), radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, software, tags, and labels. It also provides Keepers, Spider Wraps, Bottle Security, Cable Loks, hard tags, NanoGates, and Showsafe solutions to protect high-risk, and high-value merchandise. The Apparel Labeling Solutions segment provides apparel retailers, brand owners, and manufacturers with a single source for all their apparel labeling requirements. It includes a web-enabled apparel labeling solution and network of service bureaus to manage the printing of variable information on price and promotional tickets, adhesive labels, fabric and woven tags and labels, and apparel branding tags. The Retail Merchandising Solutions segment includes hand-held label applicators and tags, promotional displays, and queuing systems. Applications of these products include retail security, asset and merchandise visibility, automatic identification, pricing and promotional labels, and signage. The company was founded in June 1977 and is headquartered in Thorofare, NJ.
