Con-way, Inc. is a freight transportation and logistics services company. This segment consists of the operating results of the Con-way Freight business unit. The Logistics segment consists of the operating results of the Menlo Worldwide Logistics business unit. It develops contract-logistics solutions, including management of complex distribution networks and supply-chain engineering and consulting; and also provides multimodal freight brokerage services. The Truckload segment provides asset-based full-truckload freight services through the Con-way Truckload business unit. This Truckload segment provides full-truckload motor carrier that utilizes a fleet of tractors and trailers to provide short- and long-haul, asset-based transportation services throughout North America. Con-way was founded by Leland James in 1929 and is headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI.
