The Uniface segment operates as a rapid application development environment for building, renewing and integrating most complex enterprise applications. It also offers technology independency over an operating systems, databases and third-party technologies. The Professional Services segment delivers technology solutions. The Covisint Application Services segment provides cloud engagement platform for creating and enabling new mission-critical external business processes. Its solutions enable organizations to connect, engage and collaborate with critical external audiences, including customers, business partners, and suppliers. This segment serves the automotive, healthcare and energy industries. The company was founded by Peter Karmanos, Jr., Thomas Thewes and Allen B. Cutting in April 1973 and is headquartered in Detroit, MI.
