Company Description

CARBO Ceramics, Inc. manufactures and supplies ceramic proppant and resin-coated sand. It provides fracture simulation software and fracture design and consulting services. The company also provides a broad range of technologies for spill prevention, containment and geotechnical monitoring. Its products and services are primarily used in the hydraulic fracturing of natural gas and oil wells. The company has manufacturing facilities in the China, Russia, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. CARBO Ceramics was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
