It invests on a leveraged basis in the residential mortgage pass-through securities for which the principal and interest payments are guaranteed by the Federal National Mortgage Association, or Fannie Mae, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, or Freddie Mac, or the Government National Mortgage Association, or Ginnie Mae, and collateralized by single-family residential mortgage loans; adjustable-rate residential mortgage loans (ARMs) which have coupon rates that reset monthly, or hybrid ARMs, which have a coupon rate that is fixed for an initial period and thereafter resets at regular intervals. The company was founded by Kevin E. Grant on January 3, 2006 and is headquartered in Waltham, MA.
