Deutsche Bank AG engages in the provision of corporate banking and investment services. It operates through the following segments: Global Markets (GM); Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB); Private, Wealth, and Commercial Clients (PW&CC); Deutsche Asset Management (Deutsche AM); Postbank (PB); and Non-Core Operations Unit (NCOU). The GM segment includes the sales and trading related activities of the former Corporate Banking and Securities segment. The CIB segment comprises of the combined corporate business components of the Corporate Banking and Securities and Global Transaction Banking businesses. The PW&CC segment covers German and International Private and Commercial Clients businesses. The Deutsche AM segment contains the asset management activities. The PB segment reflects the core components and non-core components of Postbank. The NCOU segment no longer contains the aforementioned non-core components related to Postbank. The company was founded by Adelbert Delbrueck on March 10, 1870 and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
