It owns producing oil and natural gas properties in both Canada and the U.S. The company's operations includes: Tight Oil, Crude Oil Waterfloods, Marcellus Shale Gas, Liquids Rich Natural Gas and Other Conventional and Gas. The Tight Oil operations focuses on two assets, including Fort Berthold and Bakken field. The Crude Oil Waterfloods operations are a mix of waterflood properties in its portfolio, targeting formations, such as the Ratcliffe, Glauconitic, Cardium, Viking, and Lloydminster. The Marcellus Shale Gas operations play is the unconventional natural gas play in North America. The Liquids Rich Natural Gas operations focus on Montney, Stacked Mannville and Duvernay plays. It is growing land position in the Deep Basin and liquids rich gas regions of British Columbia and Alberta. The company has conventional oil and gas assets throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Enerplus was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
