The Advanced Materials business segment includes engineered materials and defense technologies capabilities. It develops and manufactures high-performance elastomer products used in a wide range of commercial aerospace, space, and military applications, and highly engineered thermal components for commercial aerospace and industrial applications. It also develops and manufactures combustible ordnance and countermeasures for military applications. The company was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Bellevue, WA.
