The company operates in three reportable segments: Applications, Scores and Tools. The Applications segment includes pre-configured decision management applications designed for a specific type of business problem or process such as marketing, account origination, customer management, fraud and insurance claims management, as well as associated professional services. The Scores segment provides business-to-business scoring solutions, which gives clients access to analytics and integrate into their transaction streams and decision-making processes. The Tools segment offers software tools for clients to create their own custom decision management applications. Fair Isaac was founded by Earl Isaac and Bill Fair in 1956 and is headquartered in San Jose, CA.
