The company's integrated hardware and software platform enables the decentralization of data from legacy architectures and specialized hardware. Its services are used by original equipment manufacturers and other channel partners. Fusion-io was founded on December 23, 2005 by David A. Flynn and Rick C. White and is headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT.
