Axiall Corp. manufactures and markets chemicals and building products. It operates through three reportable segments: Chlorovinyls, Building products, and Aromatics. The Chlorovinyls segment produces an integrated chain of products, including chlor-alkali and derivative products, such as chlorine, caustic soda, vinyl chloride monomer, vinyl resins, ethylene dichloride, chlorinated solvents, calcium hypochlorite, hydrochloric acid and compound products, such as vinyl compounds and compound additives and plasticizers. The Building products segment consists of two primary product groups, including window and door profiles and moldings products, which include extruded vinyl window and door profiles and interior and exterior moldings products; and outdoor building products, which currently includes siding, pipe and pipe fittings and deck products. The Aromatics segment is an integrated and manufactures cumene products and phenol and acetone products. The company was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Atlanta, GA.
