Company Description

Hudson City Bancorp, Inc. operates as a bank holding company. The company through its subsidiary, Hudson City Savings Bank offers traditional deposit products, residential real estate mortgage loans and consumer loans. In addition, it also purchases mortgages and mortgage-backed securities and other securities issued by U.S. government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) as well as other investments permitted by applicable laws and regulations. The company's products include one- to four-family residential mortgages, time deposits, checking and savings accounts appeal. Hudson City Bancorp was founded on March 4, 1999 and is headquartered in Paramus, NJ.
