The company also provides insurance products and services for consumers and businesses as HomeStreet Insurance and loans for single family homes through a joint venture, Windermere Mortgage Services Series LLC. The company operates through four segments: Community Banking, Single Family Lending, Income Property Lending and Residential Construction Lending. The Community Banking segment provides diversified financial products and services to its consumer and business customers, including deposit products, investment products, insurance products, cash management services and consumer and business loans. The Single Family Lending segment originates and sells into the secondary market residential mortgage loans both directly and through its relationship with Windermere Mortgage Services. The Income Property Lending segment originates commercial real estate loans with a focus on multifamily lending through its Fannie Mae DUS business. This segment also originates commercial construction and land loans, bridge loans and permanent loans for its portfolio. The Residential Construction Lending segment originates and services construction and land loans primarily for its own portfolio. HomeStreet is headquartered in Seattle, WA.
