Company Description

Hospitality Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust that provides services in hospitality and in travels. It operates through two segments: Hotel and Travel Center Real Estate Investments. The company owns hotels and travel centers located throughout the United States, Ontario, Canada and Puerto Rico. It does not operate hotels or travel centers, instead all of its properties are operated by unaffiliated hospitality management companies as part of combination management or lease agreements. The company was founded on February 7, 1995 and is headquartered in Newton, MA.
