Company Description

Insteel Industries, Inc. manufactures steel wire reinforcing products for concrete construction applications. The company manufactures and markets prestressed concrete strand and welded wire reinforcement, including engineered structural mesh, concrete pipe reinforcement and standard welded wire reinforcement. Its products are sold primarily to manufacturers of concrete products that are used in non-residential construction. Insteel Industries was founded by Howard Osler Woltz, Jr. in 1953 and is headquartered in Mount Airy, NC.
