This segment includes Hard Disk Drive Equipment Products, Semiconductor Equipment Market, Solar Market and Solar Manufacturing Products. The Intevac Photonics segment develops compact, cost-effective, high-sensitivity digital-optical products for the capture and display of low-light images and the optical analysis of materials and provides sensors, cameras and systems for government applications such as night vision and long-range target identification and for commercial applications in the inspection, law enforcement, scientific and medical industries. Intevac was founded by Norman H. Pond in October 1990 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA.
