Methanex Corp. is a producer and supplier of methanol. Methanex has manufacturing, marketing and supply chain capabilities in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Caribbean, the Middle East and throughout the Asia Pacific region. The company's wholly owned subsidiary, Waterfront Shipping Co. Ltd. operates the methanol ocean tanker fleet. Methanex was founded by Kenneth E Vidalin and Anne L. Wexler on March 11, 1968 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
