The Endoscopy segment consists of gastroenterology and pulmonology medical devices which assist in the palliative treatment of expanding esophageal, tracheobronchial and biliary strictures caused by malignant tumors. Merit Medical Systems was founded by Fred P. Lampropoulos, Kent W. Stanger and William Padilla in July 1987 and is headquartered in South Jordan, UT.
