Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biotechnology company, engages in the structural analysis of complex mixture drugs. The company applies its technology to the development of generic versions of complex drug products, as well as to the discovery and development of complex novel drugs. It is also specialized in the structural characterization, process engineering and biologic systems analysis of complex molecules, such as polysaccharides, polypeptides and biologics, including proteins and antibodies. Momenta Pharmaceuticals was founded by Ram Sasisekharan and Ganesh Venkatraman in May 2001 and is headquartered in Cambridge, MA.
