Its customers include wholesalers, retail dealers and individual growers in more than 40 countries. The company operates its business in two segments: Phosphates and Potash. The Phosphates segment owns and operates mines and production facilities in Florida which produce concentrated phosphate crop nutrients and phosphate-based animal feed ingredients, and processing plants in Louisiana which produce concentrated phosphate crop nutrients throughout North America and internationally. The Potash segment produces potash and it sells potash throughout North America and internationally, principally as fertilizer, but also for use in industrial applications and, to a lesser degree, as animal feed ingredients. The company was founded on October 22, 2004 and is headquartered in Plymouth, MN.
