It also has a portfolio of microwave sub-assemblies to address needs in electronic warfare, SIGINT, ELINT and high bandwidth communications subsystems. The Mercury Federal Systems business unit is focused on services and support work with the Department of Defense, and federal intelligence and homeland security agencies, including designing and engineering new intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, capabilities to address present and emerging threats to U.S. forces. It offers a wide range of engineering architecture and design services that enable clients to deploy computing capabilities for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems on an accelerated time cycle. This business unit enables it to combine classified intellectual property with the commercially-developed application-ready sub-systems being developed by Advanced Computing Solutions, providing customers with platform-ready, affordable intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sub-systems.
