Company Description

NII Holdings, Inc. provides wireless communication services, primarily targeted at meeting the needs of customers. The company provides its services under the Nextel brand through operating companies located in selected Latin American markets, with its principal operations located in major business centers and related transportation corridors of Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Chile. It offers a fully-integrated wireless communications tool with digital cellular voice services, data services, wireless Internet access, Nextel Direct Connect and International Direct Connect, a digital two-way radio feature. The company was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Reston, VA.
