The Homebuilding segment sells and builds homes under the trade names Ryan Homes, NVHomes, Fox Ridge Homes and Heartland Homes. The Mortgage Banking segment primary focus is to serve the needs of the company's homebuyers. Its mortgage banking operations are operated primarily through its wholly owned subsidiary, NVR Mortgage Finance, Inc. NVR was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Reston, VA.
