Owens & Minor, Inc. is a national distributor of name-brand medical and surgical supplies. It offers global third-party logistics services to pharmaceutical, life-science, and medical device manufacturers through its European business unit, Movianto, and through its U.S.-based service, OM HealthCare Logistics. The company offers technology tools and supply-chain management services, including distribution services to healthcare providers such as hospitals, hospital-based systems and alternate-site providers. Owens & Minor was founded by Otho O. Owens and G. Gilmer Minor in 1882 and is headquartered in Mechanicsville, VA.
