Platinum Group Metals Ltd. explores and develops platinum properties. It is a platinum-focused exploration and development company, primarily on mineral properties, which it has staked or acquired by way of option agreements in the Republic of South Africa and in Canada. The company's projects include Lac Des Iles, Western Bushveld joint venture, Waterberg, War Springs, Tweespalk and Sable joint venture projects. Platinum Group Metals was founded by R. Michael Jones and Frank R. Hallam on February 18, 2002 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
