It offers two types of memberships: business and diamond membership. The Business membership is available to all large and small businesses, nonprofit organizations and government agencies, and allows purchasing products for business, personal and resale use. The Diamond membership is for all other individuals and allows buying products for personal use. PriceSmart was founded by Sol Price in 1976 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA.
