Royale Energy, Inc. is an independent oil and natural gas producing company, which engages in the production and sale of natural gas, acquisition of oil and gas, drilling of both exploratory and development wells. The company operates through two reportable segments: Oil and Gas Producing and Exploration, and Turnkey Drilling Services. It owns and operates wells in the Sacramento and San Joaquin Basin in California, Utah, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Alaska. Royale Energy was founded by Donald H. Hosmer and Harry E. Hosmer in October 1986 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA.
