Company Description

Spirit Airlines, Inc. is an ultra low-cost, low-fare airline company, which provides affordable travel opportunities principally throughout the domestic U.S., the Caribbean and Latin America. The company manages operations on a system wide basis due to the interdependence of its route structure in the various markets served. It was formerly known as Charter One and changed its name to Spirit Airlines, Inc. in 1992. Spirit Airlines was founded in 1964 and is headquartered in Miramar, FL.
