Company Description

Spherix, Inc. is a scientific research company. The company provides services through its subsidiaries. It operates its business through two segments: Biospherics and Health Sciences. The Biospherics is engaged in a Phase 3 clinical trial to study the use of D-tagatose as a treatment for Type 2 diabetes. The Health Sciences segment provides technical and regulatory consulting services to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, as well as providing technical support for its R&D activities. The company was founded by Gilbert V. Levin & Karen M. Levin in 1967 and is headquartered in Bethesda, MD.
