Company Description

Southwest Gas Corp. engages in purchasing, distributing and transporting natural gas to residential, commercial and industrial customers in portions of Arizona, Nevada, and California. It operates its business through two segments: Natural Gas Operations and Construction Services. The Natural Gas Operations segment is engaged in the business of purchasing, distributing, and transporting natural gas. The Construction Services segment provides utility companies with trenching and installation, replacement and maintenance services for energy distributing systems. The company was founded in March 1931 and is headquartered in Las Vegas, NV.
