Tempur-Pedic International, Inc. is engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of mattresses and pillows, which are made from TEMPUR pressure relieving material. It also focuses on developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced sleep surfaces that help improve the quality of life for people around the world. The company operates its business through two segments: North America and International. The North America segment consists of two U.S. manufacturing facilities. The International segment consists of manufacturing facilities in Denmark. Tempur-Pedic International was founded by Robert B. Trussell, Jr. in 1992 and is headquartered in Lexington, KY.
