Investment Objective The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions- the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in stocks of foreign companies having a market capitalization of $2 billion or more at the time of purchase. It may engage in derivative transactions that include futures contracts on indexes and foreign currency forward contracts- in each case for the purposes of reducing risk and/or enhancing investment returns.
