The investment seeks investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of an index based upon the Japanese small cap equity market. The fund employs a sampling strategy in seeking to track the performance of the Russell/Nomura Japan Small CapTM Index. It invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in ADRs or GDRs based on securities comprising the index. The index is designed to represent the smallest 15% of stocks, in terms of float-adjusted market capitalization, of the Russell/Nomura Total MarketTM Index. The fund is non-diversified.
