Investment Objective The investment seeks substantial dividend income and also long-term capital appreciation. The fund will, under normal circumstances, invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in common stocks, with an emphasis on large-capitalization stocks that have a strong record of paying dividends or that are believed to be undervalued. It will emphasize companies that appear to be undervalued by various measures with favorable prospects for increasing dividend income and capital appreciation.
