Popular online brokerage firm launches new trading service

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Online brokerage service E*Trade Tuesday launched a new line of trading services on America Online.
The new AOL site allows users to access the same investment and trading resources that are featured on its Web site. In addition, AOL users will be able to trade stocks via the company's telephone trading system.
In addition to E*Trade, PC Financial Network also offers online trading on AOL's brokerage center.
AOL customers using the company's newest software version can take advantage of secure online trading thanks to the upgraded browser featured in AOL version 3.0.
The new service features extensive online help to assist users in entering stock orders, conducting research on a variety of companies or adding funds to their accounts.
In addition, a variety of information suppliers include BASELINE Financial Services, Briefing.com and First Call will be available.
