NEW YORK (CNNfn) - K-TEL International Inc. said Monday it has signed an Internet marketing and services agreement with @Home Network.
Music reseller K-TEL said it will use @Home's cable-based, high-speed Internet services to expand its entry into electronic commerce.
@Home Network is a division of At Home Corp.
Under the terms of the agreement, @Work, @Home's business division, will provide consulting services to K-TEL.
This agreement also calls for @Media, @Home's content development and interactive advertising division, to create a broadband audio and video promotional campaign for K-TEL properties.
K-TEL said the campaign will include audio clips and music video samples of its properties and will be made available on demand exclusively for @Home Network users.
K-TEL will also become a lead sponsor of @Home's TuneIn service, which provides music over the Internet.
Shares of K-TEL (KTEL) rose 3/4 to 26-3/8 in midday trading. At Home Corp. (ATHM) shares fell 1-13/16 to 41-1/2.
