Gasoline at the pump becomes cheaper still, survey of retailers shows

LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Gasoline prices continue to fall, according to the Lundberg Survey of 10,000 gas stations across the country.
The Jan. 22 survey showed that the average price of all grades of gas, self and full-service, fell .65 cents in the two week period since Jan. 8, dropping the price to just over $1.02 per gallon.
The price of self-service regular fell .069 cents over the same period, down to just over 96 cents per gallon.
Survey publisher Trilby Lundberg said the decrease over the past two weeks was caused by severe weather across the country restricting driving and because of continued low crude oil prices.
