Salon.com and APBNews.com announced cutbacks this week

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Many people who flocked to Internet startups in the hopes of making it rich are finding their dreams aren't panning out.

Just this week alone, the online magazine Salon.com said it's laying off 9 percent of its staff, and the crime news Web site APBNews.com fired its 140 employees.
And as Fred Katayama reports, more layoffs are expected.
